Davidson (fae/they) is a biomedical device design student at Duke University and a horror author with over 40 publications in independent magazines and presses. Their writing and design is propelled by one question: if we can't imagine a better future, how can we make one? Reflecting their values, they center warm, phobia friendly devices that can be produced with cost effective, environmentally friendly manufacturing methods in their design work and use horror as social commentary in faer creative writing.
Their numerous professional credentials and honors include a B.S. (magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa) in Applied Physics and Humanities from Yale University, the Yale Applied Physics Prize, the Yale Science and Engineering Society Senior of Distinction Award, and two YoungArts honors in poetry and novel. They are currently a merit scholarship student at Duke University, completing faer M.S. in Biomedical Engineering with a certificate in Biomedical Device Design.
